arp 321 is the last member of the class galaxy groups. the atlas note says
"sharp absorption lane in connection to s galaxy". that can just be seen
in this image. all of these galaxies also make up hickson compact group
in this image. all of these galaxies also make up hickson compact group
40, and have mcg designations -1-25-8 through -1-25-12. the little double
galaxy about 4' w is mitchell anonymous 0938-0951, or leda 82490.
three trails from geosynchronous satellites can
be seen in the negative image. these were only the brightest of seven that
passed through the field in an hour.
