arp 271 (ngc 5426 & 27)

  arp 271 is in the double galaxies with connected arms class.  dr. arp's atlas note is "arms linked.  note bifurcation in arm of n spiral".  the northern galaxy is ngc 5427 and the southern one is ngc 5426.  this was the last image to complete my 338 arps.  it was a good ending since i find it one of the most beautiful.  it was a tough night, however, because of very strong and gusty winds.  i took 79 sub-exposures of arp 271 and only 29 could be used because of the wind.
