Arp 60 is in the class Spirals with Small HSB Companions on Arms. The Atlas note says "third arm in direction of companion". This can be seen in the Atlas image, which is very sharp, but not in mine. Notice the faint galaxy cluster occupying most of the southwest quarter of the field. This field contains one of the few Megastar errors, as the tiny companion to Arp 196 is incorrectly identified as Arp 60.
Arp 60 is also cataloged as PGC1762846.
