Arp 35 is a member of the Integral Sign class. The
small galaxy to the south is part of the Atlas field but not obviously connected
to the Arp. Notice the very low surface brightness galaxy about halfway to
the left edge of the field.
This image was acquired on two different nights,
about a year apart. Both nights were clear and cold but the first, in
particular, was near freezing. The telescope tube had a thick layer of frost
on it by the end of the
session.
