Arp 330 is another member of the Galaxy Chains class. The Atlas note is "five galaxies in chain quite compact; 6th of low surface brightness". The note implies that Dr. Arp considered six galaxies as members of the chain. There are at least 17 identifiable galaxies in his field, which is essentially the center 50% of mine. I'm only guessing but the six he was counting are probably the six with MCG numbers, starting with MCG+9-27-91 at the S end of the chain and continuing through MCG+9-27-95, NW of the bright star.
