arp 234 (ngc 3738)

  arp 234 is in the class appearance of fission.  the atlas note says "considerable resolution into stars and absorption tubes".  i believe that the "stars" are actually star-forming regions.  the small spiral tucked into the northwest corner of the field is mcg+9-19-125.
