Arp 216 is a member of the class Adjacent Loops. Dr. Arp's Atlas note says
"patches north of disturbed spiral, emission strong". The Atlas field is
almost as large as this field, with both galaxies making up the Arp. The
barred spiral to the left is NGC 7682 while the disturbed galaxy to the right is
NGC 7679. The little bright patch on the left end of NGC 7679 has a
Mitchell Anonymous designation, 2328+0330, but it isn't obvious to me that it is
a separate galaxy.
This image is a combination of images taken with
MX716 and MX916 cameras, and the MX716 determined the field size.
