  this is another of the lsb spirals.  it is peculiar by almost any definition.  to me, it appears to have an incipient bar running nearly n-s.  the atlas notes say "low surface brightness dwarf.  large bright knot in arm appears almost stellar".

the positive image is one of the very few to which i applied background smoothing.  the image was taken on a less than perfect applied background smoothing.  the image was taken on a less than perfect night -- slightly hazy -- and background smoothing did eliminate a lot of noise, at the  cost of smudging out some of the fine detail.  the negative image was not smoothed.
