Arp 180 is a member of the class Narrow Filaments. The Atlas note says "south arm kinks back, thin filament connects nuclei". The star-like object touching the primary core at the southwest edge is a second galaxy. The Atlas image shows this better but does not show as much filament structure as my image does. There are many small galaxies in the field, including four Mitchell Anonymous. The Arp itself is MCG -1-13-34.
