Arp 174 is in the class Narrow Counter-Tails. The Atlas note is "smaller
galaxy very condensed." In fact, except for a tiny bit of fuzz, it could
pass for a star. The galaxy near the bottom of the field is Mitchell
Anonymous 958+2846.
The tail on Arp 174 is extremely faint, just a
barely detectable glow.
This was the longest exposure in my initial set of images, 84 minutes, but has
since been exceeded by other images.
