arp 172 (ic 1178 & 1181)

arp 172 is the last member of the class diffuse counter-tails.
this field, like all fields in this area, is full of galaxies. it is near
the center of the hercules galaxy cluster, abell 2151. i'll only point out one other galaxy, the
very thin edge-on s and w of arp 172, pgc 57042.
